Mr. Charles E. Hayes, 80, husband of Ruby Raines Hayes , passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Emeritus, Greenville.
Born in Laurens County, a son of the late Jesse Thomas and Devora Masters Hayes, Mr. Hayes retired from construction, was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are three daughters, Rhonda H. Clark, Jan H. Brown (Jeff) and Lynn H. Albertson (Stanley), all of Easley; two brothers, Edgar and Horace Hayes; one sister, Lucille Baldwin; four grandchildren, Josh Clark, Lee Clark, Lauren Brown and Bailey Albertson; three great-grandchildren, Zoe Hester, Zachary Clark and Elisha Clark. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hayes was predeceased by a son, Stephen Anthony Hayes.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church, prior to the service.
The family is at the home, 100 Waterford Way, Easley, SC 29642.
