Mr. Charles Hayward Holliday, 83, husband of Frances Owens Holliday, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Magnolia Place of Greenville.

Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Arthur Hulet and Lena Sweet Holliday, Mr. Holliday graduated from Easley High School. He retired from Delta Woodside Mills and was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Holliday served in the National Guard.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixty-four years, are a son, Scott Holliday (April) of Easley; a daughter, Wanda Stewart (John) of Easley; two brothers, Roy Hulet Holliday and Walter Holliday, both of Easley; a sister, Anne Davis of Piedmont; three grandchildren, Chad Stewart, Stacey Griffith, and Meredith Holliday; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah and C.J. Stewart. Mr. Holliday was predeceased by three brothers, James, Gerald, and Melvin Holliday.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Escort of Honor will be the George Pizzi Sunday School Class at Geer Memorial Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
