Charles Frank Hood, 60, of Powdersville, died Sunday May 6, 2012 at his home.
Mr Hood was born in Greenville, the son of Wallace "Bolt" and Martha Geneva Phillips Hood. He was a self employed painter and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his daughter, Heather Burger, of Powdersville; grandchildren, Hannah Huffman and Case Burger, both of Powdersville.
He was preceded in death by a son, Chad Frank Hood.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Heather Burger, 5 Freeman Drive, Powdersville.
