Charles Cecil Jameson, Jr.,70, of 200 Happy Trail Rd., passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Charles Cecil and Lucy Carlee Hendricks Jameson, Mr. Jameson was a self-employed owner of a lawn maintenance company. He also served his country in the US Air Force, and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, treasurer, choir member, and most recently, Sunday School Director.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine Elizabeth Hitt Jameson of the home; two daughters, Karen Jameson (fiance, Mark) of Liberty, and Keela Jameson of Easley; two brothers, Doyle Jameson (Diane) and Raymond Jameson (Vickie), all of Easley; one sister, Dorothy Howard (Bud) of Easley; and a God given granddaughter, Allie.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with the Reverends Paul Turner, Mark Ford, and Jim Ed Looper officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Escort of Honor will be the Men's Fellowship Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
