Charles Cecil Jameson, Sr., 91, of 601 N. Old Mill Road, died Friday, March 10, 2006 at his daughter's home.
Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Winnie Jameson. He retired from Palmetto Health Baptist Easley where he worked in maintenance and as a courier. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Class and was a former Trustee.
Surviving are three sons, Charles C. (Josephine) Jameson, Jr., Lomax Doyle (Diane) Jameson, George Raymond (Vickie) Jameson; a daughter, Dorothy J. (Dewey) Howard, all of Easley; three sisters, Sadie Abercrombie, Jane Spoon, both of Fountain Inn, Alda Riddle of Raleigh, NC; seven grandchildren; five great- grandchildren and several neices and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his wife, Lucy Hendricks Jameson, and a half-brother, James Hendricks.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
