Charles Edward “Mr. Ed” Jennings, 86, husband of Nancy Reeves Jennings, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Charles Truman Jennings and Etta Land Jennings.

Mr. Jennings was a retired truck driver who had worked for Pilot and Exide Battery. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed training and running his hunting dogs. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and US Army.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy R. Jennings; his daughters, Helen Kimberly Jennings of Easley and Sally Jennings Stockton of Beulah Dean, NC; and his brother, Donald Franklin Jennings of Easley.

Ed was predeceased by a son, Bryan Keith Jennings; a grandson, Truman Ackerman; a granddaughter, Shaina Jennings; and a brother, Harold Hughes Jennings.
