Mr. Charles Stanley McQueen, 59, formerly of 144 Rutledge Street, died Friday, February 3, 2006, at C.M. Tucker, Jr. Nursing Care Center in Columbia.
Born in Pickens County, Mr. McQueen was a son of the late Charles Homer and and Gertrude Black McQueen. He graduated from Easley High School and was formerly employed with Judson Mills and Alice Manufacturing. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. McQueen had served in the U.S. Army in Germany.
Surviving are three sons, Stephen Allen McQueen of Six Mile, and Matthew and Mark McQueen, both of Texas; three daughters, Susan McQueen of Six Mile, Sharon M. Couch of Greenville, and Catherine McQueen of Texas; one brother, Michael Gregory McQueen of Easley; two sisters, Beth Tipton and Pamela Sue McQueen, both of Easley; his former wives, Faye McQueen of Texas, Linda McQueen of Easley and Thelma Silvers of Travelers Rest; and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Larry Gene McQueen.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where visitation was held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday.
