Charles Frederick McRee, 73, of 428 Deer Creek Road, died Monday, February 26, 2007 at his home.
Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Grady and Lillie Crawford McRee. He was a veteran of the US Army, worked as a truck driver, and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, Martin F. "Mark" McRee and wife Tammy; a daughter, Karen McRee and husband Mike Witt; a sister, Mildred Gillespie, all of Easley; and two grandchildren, Dillon Toby and Skylar Bleu Witt. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Lois Simmons McRee; two brothers, Bo and Gene McRee; and two sisters, Emma Mull and Joyce Moore.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
