Easley
Mr. Charles Edward Milligan, Sr., 92, husband of the late Marjorie A. Milligan, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Trident Medical Center, Charleston.
Born in Wilmington, NC, the son of the late William Moultrie Milligan, Sr. and the late Lillian Platt Milligan, Mr. Milligan retired from C&O Railway and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran having served in WWII.
Surviving are a son, Charles Edward "Chuck" Milligan, Jr. of Easley; a daughter, Linda Nippert (Jim) of Cumming, GA; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Milligan was predeceased by a brother and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Monday, April 21, 2014 at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Graceland East.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:15 PM Monday at the church, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
