Charles Horace Moore, 86, husband of Imogene Nations Moore, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015.

Mr. Moore was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Duard Leland and Lizzie Rosa Madden Moore. He was retired from the Clemson Police Department and the U. S. Army and had also served the U. S. Navy and the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Moore was a Mason, Scottish Rite and Hegaz Shriner.

Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Charles Ray (Annie) Moore of Dacusville, James David (Wenda) Moore of Easley, Franklin Ralph (Barbara) Moore and William Roger (Michele Johnsen) Moore both of Central; a daughter Sharon Jean (Hubert) Hudson of Pickens; sisters, Gladys Smith of Six Mile, and Elizabeth Bergt of Las Vega, NV; seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by a brother Leland Claudius Moore.

Graveside services with military rites will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday January 23, 2015 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
