Charles Raymond Myers, Sr., 93, of Cely Road, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Roy Lee and Ellen Garrison Myers. He served our country during World War II in the Navy. He retired from Hoescht Celanese and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his two sons, Charles Raymond Myers, Jr. and his wife Jenny; and Paul D. Myers; two daughters, Elaine M. Wilson and her husband Syd; and Linda M. Quinn; one sister, Rachel Ledford; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Phillip I. Myers.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 at 1:00pm at Robinson Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family are at their respective homes.
