Wayne Paddie

Charles Wayne Paddie, 65, of 308 Brown Street, husband of Sharon Kemp Paddie, went to be with the Lord Monday January 23, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Paddie was born in Alexandria, Lousiana, a son of the late Joseph Charles and Virginia Finch Paddie. He retired from Hajoca in Taylors and was an Ordained Minister in the Church of God.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Channing Moore (Martie), of Greer and Travis Paddie (Shannon), of Piedmont; three daughters, Michele Hall (Shane), of Greenville, Tashia Shelton, of Greer and Crystal Hair (Greg), of Travelers Rest; a brother, Joseph Paddie, of Greer; sisters, Virginia Cohen, of Anderson, Beverley Hart, of Lyman, Frances Rhodes and Marilyn Sloan, both of Greer and Nelda Dockery, of Duncan; grandchildren, Zack Shelton, Noah Shelton, Bailey King, Kaily Paddie, Jesse Paddie and Channing Moore.
Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday at Duncan Restoration Church of God with the Reverend Charles Hardin and the Reverend Ted Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Sunday, prior to the service, at the church.
