Charles Allen Petigrew, 85, husband of Betty Pettigrew died Friday, November 22, 2013 at Hospice of the Upstate.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Pettigrew is survived by his children Charles A. Pettigrew, Jr., Robert M. Pettigrew, and Carole P. Kohlmayer; stepchildren, Tom Friedlob, Jr. and Elizabeth F. Rhoads; five grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
He was the youngest of ten children, and one brother, Joseph H. Pettigrew also survives.
Mr. Pettigrew was twice married. His first marriage was to the late Ellen McNeil Pettigrew. His parents were the late Robert Marion and Maude Sligh Pettigrew.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11:00 A. M. in Tartan Hall at Fort Hill Presbyterian Church, Clemson, SC.
Visitation will follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fort Hill Presbyterian Church, 101 Edgewood Ave., Clemson, SC 29631, or to the charity of your choice.
