Charles Ray (Chuck) Peurifoy,Jr., 32, of 208 Monaco Circle, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born May 9, 1979 in Rock Hill, Chuck is the son of Charles R. and Mary Beth McMillan Peurifoy of Clemson. He was a 2010 graduate of Clemson University and attended and played soccer at Southern Wesleyan University prior to transferring to Clemson. He attended First Wesleyan Church Alive in Central and was an avid outdoorsman who loved all animals especially his dogs Rebel, Lucy and Dixie. One of the joys of his life was to visit "the farm" in Allendale County.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister: Sarah P. Norwood and husband, Kevin of Hartsville, SC; Maternal grandparents Robert H. and Elizabeth T. McMillan of Ulmer, SC; Paternal grandparents, Rev. Harvey O. Peurifoy and his wife, June of Greenwood; an aunt, Kathy (Tom) Norris; uncles Robbie (Jami) McMillan, John Lee McMillan, Wayne (Sarah) Peurifoy and Keith (Gail) Peurifoy; and first cousins, Laura Poe, Wil McMillan, Anna Flippo, Emily, Elizabeth and Mac Norris, Tommy and JoAnna Peurifoy, Brooks and Mark Peurifoy.
He was predeceased by his Paternal grandmother, Miriam E. (Trudy) Peurifoy.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
