Charles "Charlie" Pike 55, devoted husband of Cassandra Waters Pike, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
Charlie was born to loving parents Vera Pajk Bobetic of Brossard, Quebec, Canada, and Mahmoud Mohamed of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Charlie was a dedicated father to sons Carter Michael (18), Trevor Charles (15), and Brody Durham (13). Each of the boys were fortunate enough to have their dad as their soccer coach, but their most cherished times together happened playing a multitude of sports in their own backyard. Charlie always kept the game competitive and showed them no mercy on the field. His competitive spirit was passed on to each of them.
Raised in Montreal, Charlie made childhood friendships that withstood the test of time and distance. It was there that his love for sports grew. Soccer, the real football, held a special place in Charlie's heart, so much so that he decided to play collegiate soccer at Alderson-Broaddus. This is where he, using his gregarious heart and vibrant smile, captured the heart of his loving wife Cassandra.
Anyone who knew Charlie knew he loved the Montreal Canadiens, the Clemson Tigers, traveling, backyard parties and spending time on Lake Keowee with his family and friends. The love of these things was only outmatched by the love he had for his family. Charlie was a giver and he graciously gave his time to coach young boys and girls as a soccer coach for Powdersville High School, Easley Soccer Club, and Tri-County Soccer Club. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Easley.
In addition to Cassandra and their children, Charlie is survived by both his parents.
