Charles Fraymond Salmon. 77, husband of Susie Thomas Salmon, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Gastonia, NC, a son of the late Cass Benton and Carrie Ruella Salmon, Mr. Salmon was a retired airline mechanic, a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Navy.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one son, Brian Salmon of Rhome, TX.; two daughters, Tina Simmons (Neil) of Pelzer and Cheryl Beaty (Randy) of Easley; a brother, Larry Salmon of Easley; one sister, Frances Cooper of Dover, DE; nine grandchildren, Bridgette Pizzola, Christy Simmons, Hope Williams, Payton, Jordan and Briann Salmon, Randy Beaty, Jr., Ryan Beaty and Jenifer Martin; and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Salmon was predeceased by a brother, Robert Salmon and two sisters, Doris Barnes and Peggy Jumonville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dale McCoig officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
The family is at the residence, 305 Bishop Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
