Charles W. Topper, 86, of 113 Bracken Court, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Evansville, IN, a son of the late Walter H. and Lola O. Pearce Topper, he was a retired engineer with NCR of Liberty, a member of Liberty United Methodist Church,the VFW, the Lions Club, was a Mason, and a US Navy Veteran of WWII.
Surviving are: one son, Joel S. Topper of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; three daughters, Patricia M. Kelley and husband, Roger, of Crestview, FL, Teresa A. Topper of the home, and Catherine S. Arthur of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; 10 much loved grandchildren, Joanne Cline, William N. Cline III, Jennifer Rairdon, Charles M. Cline, Cassandra Nelson, Joseph Arthur II, Jacob Arthur, Andrew Topper, Erin Topper and Kimberly Topper; and 9 and soon to be 12 cherished great-grandchildren, Tanner Cline, Adam Cline, Robert Cline, Noah Fitzpatrick-Cline, Logan Rairdon, Jared Rairdon, Ryan Cline, Justin Romaca, Brandon Romaca, Olivia Nelson, Emma Joy Cline and Abigail Lynn Cline.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marie Striegel Topper.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, with burial to follow in the Veteran's section of Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29641.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
