Charles Wayne Waldrop

Charles Wayne Waldrop, 80, husband of the late Dorothy "Dot" White Waldrop, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020.
Born in Easley, a son of the late C. Bub Waldrop and the late Ella Mae Jones Waldrop, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the US Marines and the US Navy, where he served as a Medic. Mr. Waldrop was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Christopher Waldrop (Melinda) of Easley; a daughter, Missy Hunter (Bobby) of Easley; stepdaughters, Rhonda Keeler of Pelzer and Diane Patterson (Donnie) of Easley; a sister, Barbara Searcy of Easley; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his special partner, Donna Stewart of Easley.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by twin sons and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 595 Old Liberty Highway, Easley, SC 29640.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
