Charles Ivan Young, husband of Allie Charlene Young, passed away April 5, 2012, at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Dayton, Ohio, he was a son of Ruby Byers Young, of Jamestown, Ohio and the late Charles Edward Young. Charles moved to South Carolina after serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Young�??s Industrial Supply, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two sons, Nathan Young (Ashley) of Pickens, and Adam Young (Jenna) of Raleigh, NC; a daughter, Lori Keller (Shawn) of Boiling Springs; a brother, David Allen Young (Janene) of Jamestown, OH; two sisters, Celeste Strebe (Ron) of Grand Blanc, MI, and Sheila Fields of Cape Coral, FL; and six grandchildren, Kelcie Young, Wesley Bowen, Skylar Young, Samantha Keller, Chance Keller, and Kenneth Charles Young.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles Edward Young.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 7, 2012, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 706 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
