Charlie "Red" Golightly, 76, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Clifford Vernon and Lelia Turner Golightly, Mr. Golightly was a Master Carpenter and of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Shriners, Masons and was a Veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving, are a daughter, Donna Kennedy (Eddie); a sister, Peggy Renaud; granddaughter, Brittanie Beattie; a niece, Sonya Brewer; and a nephew, Rick Renaud.

A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 6, 2012 at M.J. Dolly Cooper Cemetery.
