Charlie Kelley, age 72, died on December 25, 2023.

He was born on September 22, 1951 to Charlie Hoke Kelley and Mary Ellen Swaningham Kelley. He had a degree in business and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in psychology. Charlie worked in the IT department at Rockwell Automation for more than 30 years. 

Charlie is survived by wife, Jo Ann Kelley; a daughter, Kelley James (Evan); grandsons, Jackson James, Easton James, Hudson James, and Stetson James; a niece, Shannon Odom; nephews, Jason Swords, and Wes Swords; sisters, June Robinson, and Marie Swords; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; a brother, Leon Kelley; and a sister, Mary Ellen Burns. 

He was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He enjoyed shopping and spending time with people. His quick-witted remarks will be remembered by many. Charlie often said his greatest acomplishment was marrying his beloved wife, Jo Ann. They were married for 48 years.
 
Visitation will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 4:30 PM-5:15 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley, SC.
     
Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 5:30 PM in the Chapel at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
