Charlie L. Spelts

Charlie L. Spelts, 99, of Greenville, South Carolina, husband of the late Inez Staton Spelts, died on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Charlie was a proud Navy Veteran and a Mason.

He is survived by a son, Dr. Frank Spelts (Anne) of Leesburg, Georgia; a daughter, Charlene Spelts of Piedmont, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Dr. Raybun Spelts of Thomasville, Georgia, and Dr. Anna Spelts Helmeci of Richmont Hill, Georgia; as well as one great-granddaughter, Ansley Caroline Helmeci.

Services will be private, and Charlie will be laid to rest in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens in Easley, South Carolina.
