Charlie Hugh Williamson

Charlie Hugh Williamson, 95, of Seneca, husband of the late Mildred Newton Williamson, passed away January 19, 2022.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Charlie Evans and Savannah King Williamson. He graduated from Devry Institute of Technology and was a member of Fairview Church of God. Mr. Williamson served his country in the United States Army in the 3rd Armored Division during World War II and retired from Clemson University as the Electrical Superintendent of the Physical Plant. He loved his God, his family, his country and building and doing electrical work.
Mr. Williamson is survived by his sons, Timothy Hugh Williamson (Karen) and David S. Williamson (Tracy), both of Seneca; grandchildren, Ruth Hendricks, Tim Williamson, II, Dawn Hudson (Harold), Melody Goss, Benjamin Williamson (Rebecca), Nathan Williamson (Morgan), Isaac Williamson (Mary Beth), Caleb Williamson and Israel Williamson; step-grandchildren, Benjamin Grant (Skye) and Jacob Grant (Hayley); great grandchildren, Noah Martin, Boaz Hendricks, Rayne Hendricks, Timmy Williamson, Alex Williamson, Emily Carver (Ethan), Autumn Hudson, Cooper Hudson, Hana-Grace Hudson, Ian Hudson, Rheagan Goss, Skylar Washington, Jase Williamson, Kylie-Rose Williamson, Kinsley Williamson, Jax Williamson, Charlie Williamson and Sahara Williamson; step great-grandchild, Willow Grant; great great-grandchildren, Bane Martin and Charlee Carver; brother, Clinton King; sister, Bernice Barnett half-sister, Lavenia Bolding.
He was predeceased by his wife, parents, brother, Willard Williamson, sisters, Wilma Lawrence and Grace Yuill and a half-sister, Rachel Waters.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Memory Gardens, Clemson with military honors.
