WentzelEasleyMrs. Cherilyn Bridges Wentzel, 57, wife of Richard George "Rich" Wentzel, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at her home.Born in Waynesboro, VA, a daughter of the late Toy Martin Bridges, Jr. and the late Patsy Freeman Bridges, Mrs. Wentzel was a graduate of Converse College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where she received her Master's Degree in Church Music. She was a retired music teacher and a member of Laurens Road United Methodist Church.Surviving, in addition to her husband of thirty-five years, are a son, Marty Wentzel and his wife Katie of Columbia, SC; a sister, Linda Bridges Karr of Holland; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Easley First Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to an animal rescue shelter of one's choice. Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, which is assisting the family.
