Cheryl Diane Nix

Cheryl Diane Nix, 65, of Pelzer, wife to Michael L. Nix, passed away December 15, 2021.
Born in Redondo Beach, CA, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Betty Anders Brown. Cheryl grew up in Greenville, graduating from Carolina High School. She was a substitute teacher with Anderson School District 1. Cheryl was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she taught Training Union and was the Youth Group Director for many years. She enjoyed pottery, sewing, her animals and loved The Eagles.
She is survived by her husband of forty-six years, Michael L. Nix; son, Jeffery Nix of Pelzer; daughter, Jennifer Nix of Pelzer; brother, Roger Brown of Mauldin; sister, Susan Hamilton of Greenville; grandchildren, Megan Parson, Emily Parson and Haley Parson. Cheryl is also survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Mrs. Nix was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Michael Brown.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central.
