Christine Talley Ellison

Christine Talley Ellison, 86, wife of the late Rev. James Thomas "Tommy" Ellison, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Born in Calhoun, GA, a daughter of the late Jonah W. Talley and the late Annie Beatrice White Talley, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed gardening, singing, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family. She retired from Stone's Manufacturing after forty years of service and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville.

Surviving are a son, Gregory Thomas Ellison (Debbie) of Easley; daughters, Phyllis Renee Sellman (Gary) of Easley and Angela Crystal Watson of Liberty; grandchildren, Shannon Frazier (Josh), Joshua Watson (Kayla), Kalyn Van Wie (Jordan), Ashley Haskett (Kendall), Meredith Watson, Rachel Sizemore (Evan), and Austin Sellman (Lydia); and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Vance "Bear" Talley, Spencer Talley' and Harbin Talley; and sisters, Dell Dobbs, Lonnie Mae Serritt, and Lonie Mae Talley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, before the service.
