Christine Carson Looper, 86, formerly of Pickens, died Thursday, December 10, 2009, at The Brian Center in Brevard N.C.
Born in Clay County, N.C., Mrs. Looper was a daughter of the late Vestal and Emma Shelton Carson. She retired from Kent Manufacturing and she was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Travis Allison, of Easley and Samuel Allison, of Pickens; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Looper was predeceased by her husbands, Rev. Frank Looper and Ernest Allison; two brothers; and two sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Brian Aiken officiating.
The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
