Christine Anne Worthy

Christine Anne Worthy, 74, of Seneca, wife of the late Charles Worthy, passed away January 24, 2023.

Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eleanor Sic Feierabend. Christine was a lifelong educator, teaching math at the high school and college level. She was an active member of Eternal Shephard Lutheran Church, where she served on the Pre-School Board and also other committees. Mrs. Worthy enjoyed hiking, especially her time hiking the Foothills Trail and being on the lake.

She is survived by her daughters, Kerri Kwist (Mark) of Clemson and Keturah Johnson (Brian) of Georgetown, TX; brothers, Clifford Feierabend of Cleveland, OH; sister, Joyce Waltz of Port Clinton, OH. Mrs. Worthy is also survived by her grandchildren, James Kwist, Andrew Kwist, Charles Johnson, Annemarie Johnson, and Audrey Johnson.

Christine is predeceased by her husband, parents, and brother, Richard Feierabend.

A service to celebrate the life of Charles and Christine Worthy will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Eternal Shepard Lutheran Church, 220 Carson Road, Seneca, SC.

A private committal service will be held at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 123 Atrium Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
