Mr. Christopher Shane Heaton, 31, husband of Kayla Looper Heaton, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018.
Born in Pickens County, the son of James Clifford "Chuck" Heaton and the late Ginger Ann Tyre Heaton, Mr. Heaton was a graduate of Pickens High School, a technician with Stegall Transmission and the co-owner of Starcrest Christmas Tree Farm. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of eight years, and his father, are a son, Levi Tucker Heaton of the home. In addition to his mother, Shane was predeceased by his grandparents, Melvin and Joan Heaton, and Earl and Jean Tyre.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of Mrs. Carolyn Looper.
