Mr. Christopher Kyle Merck, 44, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at his home in Greenville.

Kyle was born in Greenville and was a graduate of Easley High School and Clemson University, where he was a member of the The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Upon graduation he worked for Burroughs Chemical and Specialty Industrial Products in industrial sales. Kyle was of the Baptist Faith.

Kyle was the only child of his parents, Craig and Brenda Carman Merck, of Easley; also surviving are an aunt, Grace Davis and her husband, Winder, of Plantation, Florida and an uncle, George W. Carman, Jr., of Easley, numerous nieces and nephews, his dog Bailey, his faithful companion.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, L.E. Merck and Marie B. Merck; maternal grandparents, George W. Carman and Grace R. Carman; and an aunt, Lynn C. Owens and her husband, Gerald N. Owens.

Kyle was a loving son and made Friday night family suppers very special. His touch and smile will be missed.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Dr. Robert Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of his Mother and Father.
