Christopher Douglas Peek, 32, of Old Shirley Road, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006.
Born in Easley, he was a son of Douglas Peek of Central and Robin Mills of Spartanburg. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator and was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sons, Brandon and Bailey Peek of Spartanburg; former wife, Karen Sherriff Peek of Spartanburg; two brothers, Alan Mills and wife Stephanie of Dacusville, Jeremy Peek of Pickens; a sister, Allison Foy and husband Tommy of Dacusville; paternal grandparents R.B. and Hazel Peek of Central; four nephews, River, Corbin, Logan, Kyle; a niece, Gabriella; and future step-father, Charlie Jeter. He was predeceased by his step-father, Douglas Mills; and grandparents, Albert and Juanita Hendricks.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Cothran officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Freedom Fellowship Church Building Fund; 1038 Church Street, Central, SC 29630.
The family is at the home of Linda Pelfrey; 407 Old Sherriff Road; Central, SC 29630.
