Christopher David Pruitt, 23, of 334 Stewart Road, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Pruitt was born in Greenville, a son of Dale Anders, of Dacusville and Laura Pruitt Black, of Six Mile. He was a a member of the ROTC while a student at Daniel High School and was an avid fan of motorcycles, fast cars and hunting. He was a self-employed carpenter and a Baptist.
Surviving in addition to his parents are the Mother of his son, Leann Southerland, of Six Mile; a son, Sean Andrew Pruitt, of Six Mile; two brothers, Timothy Gosnell and Joshua Gosnell, both of Six Mile; two step-brothers, Levi Black, of Simpsonville and Lane Black, of Easley; two step-sisters, Amber Anders and Sara Anders; maternal grandparents, Christine and Lawrence Coggins, of Marietta, SC; a special grandmother, Lil Southerland, of Six Mile and his step-father, Gary Black, of Six Mile.
A memorial service will be 4:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the home, 334 Stewart Road, Six Mile, SC.
The family is at the home.
