Chuck Waters

Harold Clifford "Chuck" Waters, 62, husband of Becky Phillips Waters, passed away at MUSC in Charleston on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 while receiving a lung transplant.
Born in Easley, a son to the late Frances Waters York, Mr. Waters was a retired machinist for Sulzer after several years of service. He loved Carolina football and fishing, but his greatest love was playing and spending time with his grandson, Elisha. Mr. Waters was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of thirty-eight years, is a son, Christopher James Waters of Liberty; a daughter, Mandy Waters Hocker (Michael) of Laurens; brothers, Mike Waters (Judy) of Durham, NC and John Waters (Brenda) of Six Mile; a special sister, Pat Bryan (Ken) of King's Mountain, NC; and grandson, Samuel Elisha Waters of Pickens.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sun Trust Bank of Laurens, c/o Lungs for Chuck, 201 West Main Street, Laurens, SC, 29360.
