Mrs. Clara Marie Harlan, 66, wife of Don Harlan, of 1 Chickamauga Lane, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of Mildred McGaha Spake and the late Johnnie Lee Spake, Mrs. Harlan was a retired manager with Lowes Home Improvement.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two sons, David T. Harlan (Lesli) of Dallas, TX and Micah L. Harlan (Cindy) of Simpsonville; one daughter, Suzanne Knight (Geoff) of Birmingham, AL; one brother, John Spake of Monroe, GA; four sisters, Betty Rumler Christian of Easley, Pat Powell, Shirley Coley, and Sue Nichols, all of Westminster; and her beloved grandchild, Maddux Harlan. In addition to her father, Mrs. Harlan was predeceased by a sister, Sandy Spake.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Private entombment will take place following services.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service, at the funeral home.
