Clara Finley Hollingsworth, 90, of 205 North Florida Avenue, wife of the late Charlie Hollingsworth, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late John and Carrie Nalley Finley, Mrs. Hollingsworth retired from the Brandon Plant of Abney Mills and was of the Holliness faith.
Surviving are three sons, Johnny Hollingsworth of Travelers Rest, Randell Hollingsworth of Greenville, and Terry Hollingsworth of Pickens; three daughters, Helen Welborn of Stafford, VA, Joan Smith of Powdersville, and Debbie Kelly of Easley, a sister, Zelma Wakester of Greenville; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hollingsworth was predeceased by three sons, William Hollingsworth, James Hollingsworth and Tommy Hollingsworth, and by a daughter, Inez Bell.
Funeral services will be at noon Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, Easley. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:00 until noon Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the residence.
