Clara Mae Marlowe

Clara Mae Marlowe, 87, wife of James A. Marlowe for over seventy years, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 7, 2019.

Born in Tifton, GA, a daughter of the late Willie Taylor and the late Tillie McDaniel Taylor, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Marlowe was a member of Siloam Baptist Church in Easley.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Randy Marlowe (Christa) of Pensacola, FL; a daughter, Janet Baker (John) of Houston, TX; a brother, Jesse Taylor (Betty) of Lavonia. GA; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marlowe was predeceased by a brother, Gene Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Siloam Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
