Clarence William "Mac" McFarland, 93, of Easley and husband of the late Margaret Anne Cullember McFarland, passed away Thursday November 10, 2011 at Hospice of the Upstate.

Mr. McFarland was born in Andover, Virginia, a son of the late Hiram Albert and Lilly Bell Hubbard McFarland. He retired as an engineer with the Penn Central Railroad and was a lifetime member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was a U.S. Army veteran of W.W. II.

Surviving are his daughter, Bobbie Jean Wallace, of Gibralter, Michigan; a sister, Genelle Thacker, of Trenton, Michigan; two grandchioldren, Toni Cane and Tracy Kephart; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Kephart and Nicole Cline.

Graveside services and burial with military honors will be 1:00 PM Saturday in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 12:45 PM, prior to the service, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

The family is at the residence.
