Clarence L. "Bud" Waggoner formerly of Nashville, TN, died Monday, February 4, 2008 in Clemson, SC.

Born on February 25, 1912, he was the son of the late Lillard F. and Beulah Dickerson Waggoner. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Harriet Sugg Waggoner.

Before retiring, he worked as an account executive in radio and television sales. He was a member of the Nashville Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society.

Mr. Waggoner was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN until 1995 when he moved to Clemson, SC and joined Ft. Hill Presbyterian Church.

Family survivors include daughters Betty Moorhead and husband John of Clarksville, TN; Clarice Gustafson and husband William of Clemson, SC; grandsons John Moorhead, Bob Moorhead and Will Gustafson; and 5 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a sister, Courtney Waggoner Gillespie.

Funeral services will be held in Nashville, TN on Saturday, February 9, 2008. Mount Olivet Funeral Home will be handling services in Nashville.
