Claudia Harris, 78, of Easley, SC, fondly known as ‘Kay’ to her family and loved ones, passed away on May 29th, 2023. She was born on June 10th, 1944, in Pelzer, SC. Kay dedicated many years of her life towards helping families connect to donor services at Life Point of South Carolina.
Kay is survived by her husband of 60 years, Roger Harris, who was her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. Kay is also survived by her sister Beth Pagan (husband Rod Pagan), daughter Ginger Clary (husband Marty Clary), grandchildren Ashley Alexander (husband Collin Alexander), and Jacob Clary (wife Charley Clary), and five great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Kay will always be remembered for her easy-going temperament, hilarious personality, loving spirit, and incredible cooking that always brought her family together. Kay was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend; her joyful presence was felt by all who came in contact with her. Her kindness was endearing, and her gentleness made everyone around her feel cared for.
Kay was predeceased by her grandson Weston Clary and her parents Henry and Kathleen McClellion.
A memorial gathering will be held on June 3rd, 2023, at Robinson Funeral Home on Powdersville Road from 10:00
AM-11:00 AM. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love they have received during this difficult time.
