Claudia Chastain Reece, 89, of Easley and wife of the late Manuel P. Reece, passed away Saturday May 17, 2014 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.
Mrs. Reece was born in Central, SC, the daughter of the late John G. and Maude King Chastain. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Welcome Baptist Church where she was a member of the W.M.U. for 40 years and taught in the Sunday School.
Surviving are three daughters, Marilyn Hardister (Dean), of Rock Hill, SC, Judy Murch (Kenneth), of Anderson, SC and Jodie Thomas (Kyle), of Clemson, SC; two sisters, Jackie Davis, of Greenville, SC and Blenda Allen, of Easley, SC; four grandchildren, Jeff Stewart (Heather), Katherine, Griffin and Elizabeth Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Grace Stewart and Reece Stewart.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will be private.
Visitation will follow the service Tuesday, at the funeral home, until 3:30 pm.
The family is at their respective homes.
