Claudius "Gene" Cleveland Autry, 81, of 100 Belmont Circle, died Sunday, January 1, 2006, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Anderson County, Mr. Autry was a son of the late Jasper Cleveland and Eunice Gilmer Autry. He was a member of Edgewood Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Pruitt Autry, of the home; three sons, Charles, James and Ken Autry; one daughter, Deborah Ellett; one brother, Gerald Autry; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.
