Clayton Theo "Shorty" Gilreath, 63, formerly of 128 Elizabeth City Drive, died Friday, January 11, 2008 at An-Med Health in Anderson.
Born in LaFrance, SC, a son of the late Ernest and Nellie Hicks Gilreath, he was a retired employee with the Ellison Plant of Alice Manufacturing.
Surviving are; a son, Michael Gilreath and wife, Jackie, of Liberty; three brothers, Charles and Clinton Gilreath both of Easley, and Ralph Gilreath of Travelers Rest, SC; three sisters, Jean Chapman and Kathryn Jones both of Belton, and Sue Shellenbarger of Piedmont; and one grandson, Joshua Michael Gilreath of Six Mile.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Mark Gilreath.
Graveside services will be 2 PM, Monday, at Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM, Monday, prior to the service at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
