A memorial service honoring Clayton D. Steadman will be held at 2:00 Saturday, May 14, at Tillman Hall on the campus of Clemson University. Clay, a Clemson resident, served as General Counsel for Clemson University. He died April 17 after a heart attack.
In addition to his parents, Joan and Mark Steadman of Central, SC, he is survived by his children, Garrett and Charlotte, both of Clemson; Robin Willis of Charleston, SC and Angie Willis of Augusta, GA, and two grandsons, Cade and Hayden. Also brothers Todd Steadman of Clemson and Wade (wife, Diana) Steadman of Brookline, MA. In addition he is survived by Virginia Steadman, the mother of his children. He leaves behind numerous other relatives for whom he cared for deeply.
