Mr. Cleadus "Pete" Earl Cochran, 93, husband of the late Joyce Jean Satterfield Cochran, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023.

Born in the Holly Springs Community of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Lee Cochrum and the late Eva Gosnell Cochrum, Mr. Cochran was a graduate of Holly Springs High School, a retired technician from Lyman Printing and later retired from Western Textile. He was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Pete loved working with wood and was a Master Carpenter. He was a tinkerer of all trades and loved to build things for his family and others. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Surviving are his son, Glen A. Cochran (Tracy) of Liberty; his daughter, Patricia Cochran Cooksey (Richard) of Gaffney; a sister, Evelyn C. Harvey of Greenville; ; his five grandchildren, Amanda Gaillard (Nate), Kassie Cochran, Michael Cochran (Sarah), Katie Peak (Josh), and Kelly Bergeron (Denis); and his eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Cochran was predeceased by a brother, Albert Cochrum; and two sisters, Pauline C. Bagwell and Beatrice C. Clayton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Robert Fowler and Rev. Frank Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
