Cliff Chapman - Clemson, SC

John Clifford Chapman, 85, widower of Lottiemae C. Chapman, died July 1, 2007 at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Carl Edson and Edith May Stone Chapman. He was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church and a dedicated Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow. He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in petroleum engineering. He was employed as an engineer for several companies working in Monahans TX, Artesia, NM, and Big Spring, TX before retiring in Clemson in 1993.

Survivors: sons, Carl Edson Chapman (Kathy) of Oshkosh, WI and Robert Clark Chapman (Linda) of Downingtown, PA; brother, Harold Edson Chapman, Clarksville, AR and 2 grandsons: Connor and Hutton Chapman.

A memorial service will be held at the Clemson United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 3 at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the Midway Cemetery in Midway, PA Saturday, July 7, 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
