Clifford R. Boeckler, Sr.

Clifford "Cliff" Richard Boeckler, Sr., 92, of 114 Poinsettia Court, passed away Wednesday November 10, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Mr. Boeckler was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late William John and Anna Bottjer Boeckler. He graduated from Brooklyn Poly Technical Institute Engineering School in Brooklyn, NY and was a retired Engineer with Niagra Machine and Tool Company in Buffalo, NY. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of W.W. II, a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (S.M.E.) and an active member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Easley, SC.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Ferris Boeckler, of the home; a son, Rick Boeckler, Jr. and wife, Evelyn, of Washington, DC; three daughters, Nancy Hartranft and husband, Stephen, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Pat Caplin and husband, Russell, of Detroit, Michigan and Jenny Zak and husband, Ted, of Arizona; two step-sons, Victor Leach, Sr. and wife, Althea, of Syracuse, NY and Shawn Henry, of Easley, SC; 9 grandchildren including Joel Nicholas League, of Powdersville, Joshua Thomas League and wife, Christian, of Powdersville and Stephen Patrick Henry, of Easley; several great-grandchildren and great,great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father Emmanuel Efiong officiating.
The family is at the home.
