Clinton C. Boggs, Jr., 92, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson.
Clinton was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Choice V. and Janie Caroline Gillespie Boggs. He was a retired textile employee and was a member of Central Church of God. He was proud to have served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Post #113 of Pendleton.
Surviving are three brothers, Robert "R.C." Boggs and Frank Boggs both of Central and Vernon Boggs of Pelzer; sister, Mary Dunn of Hickory Tavern, SC; and a number of step children.
In addition to his parents, Clinton was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Ann Singleton Boggs and his second wife, Eva Rogers Duncan Boggs; brother, Marion Boggs; and sister, Hazel McClaren Hudson.
Funeral services will be 3 PM, Sunday, November 1, 2020 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. Scroll to the video player below to view the service.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:50 PM, Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic facial masks and social distancing will be required for those attending the service.
