Clyde L. Hughes, 91, of 150 Downs Blvd, died November 9, 2007 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Services will be held at 7pm, Wednesday, November 14 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7pm, prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Arlington National Cemetery.
A native of Birmingham, Al, Mr. Hughes was the son of Lawrence Edwin and Myrtle Lincoln Hughes. He served as a pilot in WWII and worked for 35 years for National Oceanographic & Atmospheric Agency.
Survivors include a son, Richard Hughes of Seneca; daughter, Margaret Hughes of Richland,Michigan; brother, Donald Hughes of Fairhope, AL; sister, Juanita Searcy; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his parents.
