Mrs. Clyde M. Park

Mrs. Geneva Clyde McNair Park, age 88, of 150 Downs Blvd., Apt. B-201, Clemson, South Carolina, widow of Eugene Park, died July 25, 2011.
Born November 27, 1922 in Stapleton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Jeptha Isaiah and Willie Bell Huff McNair.
Mrs. Park married Eugene Park on September 13, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Clemson where she has made her residence ever since. She was an honor graduate of Anderson College, now Anderson University, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Denmark Society. She was a charter member of Clemson Presbyterian Church and was active in her church and community.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Park Hungerford of Natchez, MS and Meredith Park Gloyer and husband Don of Clemson; grandchildren Jonathan Hungerford of Clemson, Betsy Hungerford Iles and husband Geoff of Natchez, MS, and Caroline Park Hungerford, also of Natchez.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Edward E. (Evelyn) Brooks of Suwanee, GA and a brother, J. I. McNair, Jr. of Evans, GA.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. David Sinclair on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 11 AM at Clemson Presbyterian Church with burial at Cemetery Hill. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 AM prior to the service.
