Clyde E. Woodall, 78, husband of Betty Zane Nix Woodall died Friday, April 25, 2008 at Hospice of the Upstate. Born in Mountain Rest, SC, he was a son of the late Jerry Luther and Cora Belle Wilbanks. He retired from Clemson University after 35 years of service in the Agricultural Extension Service. He was an Air Force veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Pendleton. He received his B.S and Masters degrees from Clemson University.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years are sons, Randall Woodall and his wife Pam, Kings Mountain, NC, Roman Woodall, Pendleton, SC; brothers, Tillman Woodall, LaMirada, CA, Homer Woodall, Walhalla, SC; sisters, Mary Jo Parker, Mauldin, SC; grandchild, Justin Woodall and great-grandchildren, Spencer Woodall and Atticus Woodall.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at First Baptist Church of Pendleton. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
